Every release and what actually changed, including the parts that were broken before. If a claim sounds thin, it probably was, and it is written down here.
v1.4.0currentkey rewrite18 October 2026
One key again, and it finally changes when you renew it. Plus a full visual rebuild, a proper bottom navigation bar, and every icon redrawn as vector art instead of the system glyphs that were standing in for them.
Keys carry a nonce. The old key was a straight hash of your device id, which meant a renewal handed back the exact same thirteen characters every time. Now the first four digits are a nonce, so every key is genuinely new.
One key, not two. The extra server-held key is gone. Simpler for you, and we are not going to pretend it made the gate stronger, because it did not.
The channel trip is the gate. Tap go to channel, come back, and the app mints your key on the spot. No copying, no browser, and it works with no network at all.
Fixed the dark theme tile. It was calling an API this app never used, so tapping it did absolutely nothing. It now flips the real system switch on Android 12 and up.
Second shade tile for motion. Turns every animation scale to zero at once, which is the single change that makes an older phone feel quickest.
Peak refresh rate and font scale, both cycling through sensible values instead of buried in display settings.
Bottom navigation. Five destinations, following the Material 3 pattern, so the app feels like one place instead of five screens.
A Status screen showing the key, the exact expiry, extensions left, permissions and device state, every row read from a real API.
Notifications on two channels so key warnings can interrupt and confirmations cannot.
Every icon redrawn as stroke-based vector art, sharing one grid and one weight. No emoji anywhere, which also meant no icons that render differently on your phone than on mine.
Launcher icon rebuilt. There were no bitmaps in the APK at all, only the adaptive icon, so any launcher that could not resolve it fell back to a cached icon from an older install. There are real PNGs at every density now.
Signature scheme v3 added alongside v2.
Fixed a meta tag that had stray angle brackets in it, which quietly swallowed the favicon on every page.
v1.3.1crash fixes18 October 2026
Two screens that reliably killed the app.
Tweaks stopped crashing. Writing to certain system settings throws an exception rather than failing quietly, and the old code did not catch it. Every write now reports refusal instead of taking the screen down with it.
Lock screen stopped crashing when a launcher refused to pin a shortcut.
Bluetooth reads were throwing on Android 12 and up, which is a symptom of a permission that is declared but never requested.
v1.3.018 October 2026
The first build with real system settings behind it.
Tweaks screen added: brightness, screen timeout, ringer mode, volumes, night light, auto-rotate and animation scales.
Lock screen buttons through the real ShortcutManager, with an honest explanation of why that is the only thing the lock screen actually allows.
Signed link tokens with a 30 minute expiry, so a hand-typed device id cannot farm keys.
Interface redesign into dark cards with grey and white buttons.
v1.2.1October 2026
Key extensions, a day at a time, seven of them.
In-app updates with download and install.
v1.0.0October 2026
First build. Rename apps, swap icons, device-bound keys.
